Decided to go for a walk just before sundown this evening, we fancied checking out some of the Christmas lights adorning the windows of suburbia. On our way up we took a detour around the park. Clouds thick with menace and water hung above us, eeking away the last glimmer of light in the sky.
The wind whipped around the dog walkers’ heels and puppy dog’s tails. We stomped forth, managing to turn the corner before darkness threw it’s cloak across the trees. It sure looks spooky when night falls.
The black night chased us way from the park gates, back to the yellow tinged street lamps and windows dancing with fairy lights.
